Biometric Health Screenings
This service provides a measurement of
specific biometrics to give an aggregate view of the health of the employee
population. Tests include: total cholesterol, HDL, TC/HDL ratio, LDL,
triglycerides, blood glucose (and A1C where indicated), blood pressure, BMI,
waist circumference, and self-reported tobacco use. Aggregate results are provided to the
employer along with customized recommendations to improve employee wellness.
Group Lifestyle
Balance Program
The Group Lifestyle Balance Program
(GLB) is a year-long program that provides education, encouragement and the
tools necessary to help individuals lose weight and reach their healthy
lifestyle goals. The main goal of the program is for participants to lose 7% of
their body weight by:
- Tracking food intake and staying within a
calorie and fat gram goal, each day.
- Tracking physical activity with a goal of
150 minutes per week.
- Privately weighing in each class
session.
Blood Pressure
Self-Management Program
This program is a four-week class series designed to help
participants learn what they can do to lower their blood pressure. Topics
covered include: healthy eating, how to reduce sodium in your diet, physical
activity, DASH eating plan, and how and when to take your own blood pressure.
Mental Health
First Aid
Mental Health
First Aid is an eight-hour course that teaches participants how to identify,
understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use
disorders. The training gives participants the skills needed to reach out and
provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental
health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis.
Tobacco Cessation
Quit for Good is a four-week class series is designed to provide tobacco
prevention and cessation education to a group.

Lunch and Learn
Presentations are a great way to learn about a specific health topic in a small
group setting. The employer chooses the health topic of interest to be

MedGem Metabolism Testing
The MedGem is an FDA approved handheld indirect calorimeter. This
test takes the "guess work" out of determining a person’s caloric
needs to maintain or lose weight and is often used in conjunction with dietitian
consults.
Dietitian Consults
Participants meet 1-on-1 with a registered dietitian to address a
wide variety of nutrition or lifestyle related concerns. Our dietitian will
work with employees to create a customized nutrition plan that meets individual
needs. Topics may include:
- Weight loss
- Digestive health (irritable bowel
syndrome, celiac disease, reflux, etc.)
- Vegetarian or plant-based nutrition
- Nutrition for exercise and building
muscle

Healthy Solutions®
HMR Healthy Solutions is an intensive weight-loss and
lifestyle-change program designed to help you lose weight fast and build
